STEP 1
On Canva (the graphic design software), create a simple Facebook post design. Choose any design for your purpose, but for our example we’ll use Facebook Post as our template.
STEP 2
Drag a photo to the center canvas. Expand the photo to engulf entire space.
Step 6
Location the transparency icon found top right. There you’ll see a horizontal toggle that allows you to adjust the transparency of the box. As you toggle left, the transparency increase and you’ll see the background bleed through the box. Adjust it to a number closer to 50-60. You can play around this number per your needs.
Step 9
At this point you are done and can export the image if your satisfied with the look.
To add more flare to your text, you can drop a shadow on the text. To do this, just click on the “Just Sold” text, and copy and paste it back to the canvas.
Change the text color from WHITE to BLACK.
Step 10
Adjust the location of the black text to be right below the white font.
Pro Tip: Try to move the text to be slightly below the white font and to the right offset.
Step 11
Location the Position button found at the top right of your screen. There you can have a element that has been selected to be moved above or below an object layer. Here you’ll want to choose “Backward” to move the “Just Sold” black test to sit behind the white text. This will create that shadow look.
Step 12
Now your text really POPS OUT from the image.
Step 13
When ready, just export the image out and post it to any of your social media accounts or your websites.
